The month of May at Indianapolis Motor Speedway usually begins with practice for the 500-mile race, but this year, the first on-track action will be on a slightly modified version of the road course which hosted Formula One for so many years. 25 drivers will compete for the honor of winning the first Grand Prix of Indianapolis.

The first ever IndyCar race around the infield road course of Indianapolis Motor Speedway takes place on Saturday and can be seen on ABC.

After a three week break, Mercedes looks to continue its domination of the new era. Formula One's two feeder series are with the main game in Spain this weekend; GP2 will run its second round of the year and GP3 begins its 2014 season. As usual, NBCSN will have coverage of FP2, qualifying, and the race itself.
