Mark Webber is Going to Call V8 Supercars and I'm Torn

Network Ten announced this morning that Mark Webber will be in the commentary box for the Clipsal 500 and Bathurst 1,000 in 2015.

I, like many, am a fan of Mark's; however, I am skeptical about his role in this situation.

He has displayed candidness on many occasions, and if he does the same while calling V8 Supercars' races it will definitely add some spice to the coverage. At the same time, Webber has never driven in the series, nor has he expressed interest in ever doing so. He is familiar with endurance racing, but Neil Crompton and Mark Skaife (whose statuses are unknown for next year) also carry the same experience, having run the actual events multiple times.

Either way, I am excited to see how he goes.
